Position Type: Full-Time
About the Position: This position will join a large global development team and be integrated into our development pipelines. The developer will work on many diverse projects all using some of the latest technologies. This is a fast-paced development team and the newly hired developer will be expected participate in team discussions and work as part of a larger team. The development can range from enterprise line of business applications to client facing mobile apps.
In this role, you will be putting your development, UI design and teamwork skills to the test. Specifically, you will:
Participate in the development and Design of various systems using MVC, Client side MVVM, WCF, WPF, Xamarin, MVC Core, Azure, etc.
Develop both Web and Windows applications using the latest design patterns and techniques.
Work closely with teammates globally to share experiences and learn new techniques. This is a close team environment and we rely heavily on good communication between team members.
Work with support teams to ensure proper communications between support and development.
Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality;
Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures;
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day;
Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities.
The ideal candidate would have:
5+ years of experience programming and development of web applications using ASP.NET, C#.NET, MVC.
4+ years of experience working with design patterns, preferably MVC and MVVM.
You would also have:
Experience with Azure or cloud based technologies.
Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.
Experience using Telerik controls, specifically Kendo UI and other client side MVVM frameworks.
